Clinic Construction Has Begun in Malawi!

DFL's Medical Ministry, Africa to Africa, Update: Construction Has Begun on Our Second Clinic

We are excited to share that construction has finally begun on our second permanent clinic in Southern Africa, as part of our medical outreach programme "Aid to Africa", this time in Malawi.

The vision to start a clinic in Malawi for this project began in 2018 after DFl conducted a successful eye surgery campaign in a neglected community called Chikuluma. Following the campaign, the local chiefs and residents asked us for more permanent medical assistance in an area with very limited access to healthcare.

In 2019, we deployed a mobile container clinic and began providing medicines, medical supplies, and regular healthcare services, while volunteer medical teams continued to visit the Chikuluma community.

Due to various restrictions, our medical work had to be suspended for a period during 2024. We are grateful that the way has now reopened. This year, the registration of DFL's healthcare non-profit in Malawi was finalised, allowing us to acquire land and begin constructing a permanent clinic that complies with the Ministry of Health’s requirements.

Over the past two weeks, the foundations have been laid, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in this ministry.

Please remember this project in your prayers as we trust the Lord to provide for every stage that still lies ahead. Thank you for your faithful prayers and continued support.
